The ALMACO Draper Head is one of the most versatile heads in the research industry. The head can harvest many different crops, including soybeans, wheat, canola, grasses, cereals, and more. There are two operational modes for the ALMACO draper head: rigid mode and float mode. Rigid mode carries the sickle above the ground and is used when harvesting heads and not all of the straw for crops such as canola, wheat, and other cereals. Float mode is used when reaping soybeans or other crops that are harvested at ground level, flexing with the contour.
